Kathryn Mecredy draws on her legal knowledge and experience to guide individuals through the legal system with practical support and dedicated advocacy.

Kathryn began her legal career at Lone Star Legal Aid before moving into civil litigation. In 2012, she transitioned into criminal defense, focusing on traffic violations and Class C misdemeanor cases. Over the years, Kathryn has achieved consistent success in the courtroom, including numerous successful jury verdicts for her clients at trial.

Kathryn has played an active role in the Gulf Coast legal community through various leadership positions. In 2014, she was elected as the Defense Attorney Representative on the Harris County Bail Bond Board. She later served as President of the Harris County Municipal Justice Bar Association. Kathryn currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Harris County Precinct One Reserve Foundation and presides as Judge of the Patton Village Municipal Court in Montgomery County, Texas.

In addition to her work at Legal Advocates, Kathryn is the Executive Director of the Texas Justice Center, an organization committed to resolving disputes outside the courtroom through mediation and arbitration. The Center also supports attorneys in trial preparation by providing state-of-the-art mock trial facilities, conference space, and focus group resources.
